Cette vidéo prise sur le vif montre l'ambiance qu'il y avait ce soir là à Erbil, pour la 1ère fête de la musique au KURDISTAN. Le morceau "scarabée" est joué au cajon pour des raisons "techniques". Il fût suivi d'un morceau traditionnel Kurde joué avec le saxophoniste Niaz ZANGANA. Nous remercions Cultures France, l'ambassade de France et le gouvernement Kurde pour l'organisation de cet évènement exceptionnel !

RAGA AFRIKA is the world's first collaboration between Indian Classical Music and Afro Jazz. Their debut performance at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Cape Town featured from India: Kala Ramnath (violin), Purbayan Chatterjee (sitar), Ashish Paul (tabla), and Abhijit Pohankar (keyboard); and from South Africa : Kunle (guitar), Lucas Khumalo (bass), Frank Paco (drums), and John Hassan (multi-percussion).
