Jennifer Lopez has been “super happy” lately!

Over the past month, Lopez has been spotted several times with former fiancé Ben Affleck.

Over the the weekend, Lopez and Affleck were photographed hooking arms in the Hamptons, just a day after enjoying a day at Universal Studios Hollywood with their kids.

During an interview on Monday with Apple Music’s Zane Lane, she said, “I know people are always wondering, ‘How are you? What’s going on? Are you okay?’ This is it. I’ve never been better.”

“I want my people who care about me — because I care about them so much — to know that I’ve really gotten to a place in my life where I’m great on my own,” Lopez reiterated. “And I think once you get to that place, then amazing things happen to you that you never imagine in your life happening again. And so that is where I’m at.”

Without mentioning her rumored reconciliation with Ben, Jennifer added, “I love all the love that’s coming my way right now and all of the good wishes. And I just want everybody to know that it’s the best time. It’s the best time of my life.”

J Balvin has linked up with Skrillex for a new track called “In Da Getto.” It’s the fourth in a string of singles the Colombian reggaeton superstar has released in the last few months, a run that has included “Ma’ G” and “Tu Veneno.” “In Da Getto” is his first collaboration of the bunch. As Pitchfork points out, Skrillex co-produced it with Tainy and the track contains elements of David Morales & the Bad Yard Club’s “In De Ghetto.” It comes with a music video directed by Alfred Marroquín. J Balvin has five Latin Grammys, 35 million records sold, and he’s collaborated with Dua Lipa, Bad Bunny, Beyoncé and most recently with Khalid on “Otra Noche Si Ti.”

Now, “Extra” special correspondent Mark Sanchez is chatting with the Prince of Reggaeton about his work, new documentary and his baby on the way!

Mark said, “You've collaborated with just about everybody you can think of — from Justin Bieber to Cardi B and everybody in-between… Who's your dream collaboration?”

Balvin told him, “Drake. Rihanna. The Weeknd.” Mark smiled and said, “I'm gonna make some calls for you. I'll get back to you.”

The 35-year-old is gearing up for fatherhood, expecting his first child with his model girlfriend, Valentina Ferrer, making the announcement on the cover of Vogue Mexico.

Mark asked, “How excited are you for this news and is it a boy or girl?” J would only say, “We're gonna wait till the end.”

Mark even introduced him to his son, and J told him, “Hola.” Mark wanted to know, “Do you have any names picked out yet?” Balvin said, “Nah, nah... just wait.”

Sanchez insisted, “Oh, man, you're gonna enjoy that so much.”

And fans are going to enjoy J’s new rockumentary, “The Boy from Medellín.” The doc is premiering on Amazon Prime Video and centers on a sold-out stadium show in his Colombian hometown as political protests and his battle with anxiety and depression threaten to unravel it all.

Mark said, “Did you ever know that it would get to this point… that you'd be… explaining something that used to be hidden by a lot of people?”

Balvin said, “I never thought that this would happen, but it's part of the journey… We can give light to the people and give hope, letting them know that I'm a human being, too, and I suffer from that. So they're not alone.”

“The Boy from Medellín” premieres May 7 on Amazon Prime.

In the music documentary “The Boy From Medellín,” Colombian reggaeton superstar J Balvin is prepping for a massive concert in his hometown of Medellín — a show that will host up to 45,000 people — only for protests to break out in the city’s streets.

The documentary depicts the anxiety and depression that have plagued Balvin for years whenever he’s offstage, but the new decision of whether to amplify the voices of young people protesting and being persecuted by the government leaves him torn about how to use his platform.

“If you speak up, it’s wrong. If you don’t, it’s wrong. So either way, you lose,” a confidant says to him in the trailer. “I don’t want to get into political things because it’s not my thing. I just want to focus on bringing light into the world,” Balvin replies.

It’s fitting that “Cartel Land” and “City of Ghosts” director Matthew Heineman is helming “The Boy From Medellín,” as he’s suited to capture not just the excitement of Balvin’s performance but also the political drama on the streets. Heineman shot the film entirely in the week leading up to the Medellín concert and, in the process, was given rare access to J Balvin, known by the world as “Reggaeton’s Global Ambassador.”

Amazon Studios acquired the film out of Toronto and will release it globally on May 7. Check out the trailer here and above.

The Weeknd landed eight nominations from the iHeartRadio Music Awards, leading the pack of all nominees after he was shut out from Grammy nominations earlier this year.

The Weeknd was nominated for Song of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Best Music Video and Best Lyrics, among other categories. His track “Blinding Lights” was nominated for Song of the Year alongside “Circles” by Post Malone, “Don’t Start Now” by Dua Lipa, “ROCKSTAR” by DaBaby featuring Roddy Ricch and “Watermelon Sugar” by Harry Styles.

Other artists to land multiple nominations included Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Megan Thee Stallion and Ariana Grande, all of whom were nominated for Female Artist of the Year. Justin Bieber was also nominated for Male Artist of the Year.

Last year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards were cancelled due to the coronavirus, and the winners were announced over the radio, which honored Lizzo for Song of the Year and Billie Eilish for Female Artist of the Year.

This year’s show however, now in its eighth year, is returning to Fox on Thursday, May 27 beginning live at 8:00 p.m. ET. The event will air live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and be heard on iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide and on the iHeartRadio app. The show will feature award presentations in multiple categories, live performances from the biggest artists in music and other surprise stage moments.

Fans also have a chance to vote in this year’s awards for select categories, including Best Fan Army, Best Lyrics, Best Cover Song, Best Music Video, the Social Star Award, Favorite Music Video Choreography Award and the first-ever TikTok Bop of the Year Award. Social voting for listeners and fans begins Wednesday and will close May 19, and fans can vote via Twitter using the appropriate category and nominee hashtags.

A viral YouTube rap and reggaeton hit called 'Patria y Vida' - 'Fatherland and Life' - has angered Cuba's communist-run government.

At the end of February, reggaeton superstar J Balvin released “Ma’ G,” the first single to his new album that’s due out later this year, the follow-up to last year’s Colores. Today, he’s back with another single, “Tu Veneno,” which was produced by Sky Rompiendo and Taiko and comes with a music video. Check it out below.

J Balvin is gearing up to release a new album this year, the follow-up to last year’s Colores. The Colombian reggaeton superstar spent the months following his latest album appearing on tracks alongside the likes of Dua Lipa and Justin Bieber and teaming up with McDonald’s for his own special meal. He’s just put out a new track called “Ma’ G,” the first single from his upcoming album. Check it out below.

Bad Bunny has joined the cast of STX’s “American Sole” and will make his feature film acting debut in the project.

He joins a previously announced cast that includes Pete Davidson, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Camila Mendes and rapper Offset, who is also making his feature film debut.

Bad Bunny will join “American Sole” in a supporting role, though his exact character is being kept under wraps.

The film seems to be shaping up in much the same way as STX’s “Hustlers” from last year, which also provided small roles for buzzy music stars with big followings like Lizzo and Cardi B, as well as Usher, who played himself.

“American Sole” follows Davidson and Jackson as two twenty-somethings with mountains of college debt who use the fast cash of after-market sneaker reselling to achieve their American dream. But when their startup runs out of cash and a shady investor is their only way out, the dream quickly becomes a nightmare.

“American Sole” is written and will be directed by Ian Edelman (HBO’s “How to Make It in America,” Netflix’s “The After Party”) and produced by Kevin Hart through his production company, HartBeat.

Hart will be joined as producer by Jake Stein through his Scondo Productions label, and NBA All-Star Chris Paul, who produces through his Ohh Dip!!! Productions banner. “American Sole” marks Paul’s first feature film as producer. HartBeat’s Bryan Smiley is executive producing. Drew Simon and Patricia Braga will oversee the project for STXfilms.

Bad Bunny is a multi-platinum artist and Latin Grammy award winner who became the first Latin Reggaeton artist to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone. His most recent album, “Las Que No Iban A Salir” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s “Top Latin Albums,” dethroning himself over his previous albums, with “YHLQMDLG” at No. 2 and “X 100PRE” at No. 3.

Yalitza Aparicio, the star of Alfonso Cuarón’s “Roma,” has been named the host of the 2020 Latin Grammy Awards, the awards body announced Wednesday.

The Oscar-nominated actress, who made her screen debut in the 2018 film, will co-host the 21st annual Latin Grammys alongside Carlos Rivera and TV host Ana Brenda.

Aparicio told EW that this would be her first time hosting any such show, and she agreed to join on after hearing the theme of this year’s broadcast, “Music Makes Us Human.”

“We’re living in unique times which requires a lot of extra care. The experience will certainly be different than previous years, but none of this will affect the incredible surprises we have planned for viewers,” Aparicio told EW in Spanish. “Music has the power to motivate and to lift our spirits. I select what I’ll listen to based on what my needs are at the time. If I need some energy, I crank up the Reggaeton. I’m the type of person that needs music in order to get my day going. If I don’t play Reggaeton in the morning, I’ll go back to sleep.”

Aparicio also said that among her favorite nominated artists are Daddy Yankee and Ivy Queen, the latter of whom will be performing at the Latin Grammys.

The Latin Grammys take place on November 19 and will air on Univision at 8 p.m. ET/PT via a live broadcast from Miami.

This year, Bad Bunny, Camilo, Kany García, J Balvin, Jesse & Joy, Natalia Lafourcade, Ricky Martin, Fito Páez and Carlos Vives are all nominated for Album Of The Year. You can see the complete list of nominees here.

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Leslie Grace, “Vida” star Melissa Barrera and “Gentefied” creator Marvin Lemus are among the Latinx talent and creators recognized on the 2020 LatinXT List.

The LatinXT list, which will be spotlighted at L’Attitude’s virtual event on Thursday, Sept. 24 aims to recognize Latinx talent who are redefining the new mainstream. The full list of nearly 40 Latinx creatives includes showrunners, writers, directors, producers, actors and trailblazers in the LGBTQ+ space.

Other notable honorees include “Julie and the Phantoms” star Madison Reyes and Isabela Merced, who played the title character in “Dora and the Lost City of Gold.”

The L’Attitude event agenda will feature four days of virtual sessions covering business, finance, politics, sports, and entertainment, including panels on Latin music, upcoming streaming, film, and TV content, and the emerging talents on the LATINXT List. The LATINXT panels span topics that include Latinx talent on the rise in Hollywood, an early look at Warner Bros.’ “In the Heights,” and a spotlight on Isabela Merced’s skyrocketing career in music and film.
