Kassav' at Emancipation Day Zouk Concert Toronto

Toronto, Canada - Caribbean band Kassav' makes its first concert appearance in Toronto on Wednesday August 1, 2007, 8pm at Danforth Music Hall, located at 147 Danforth Avenue at Broadview. Kassav at S.O.B.’s New York July 31
On Tuesday, July 31st, S.O.B.’s, will present Kassav , the creators of zouk music. Zouk means “party” in creole and is a rhythmic style of music, which originated from Guadeloupe and Martinique, with origins in Haitian kompa and influences from French pop.
