Afropean Soul and Other Stories

Five short stories and an interview: Afropean Soul and Other Stories sets the scenes of Black France, from the Parisian night to immigrant memories. The title text gives its name to the Afropean aesthetic that Léonora Miano will theorize later in Afropea.

A fictional manifesto in miniature, where identity is forged in the in-between of Africa and Europe.
