Blues pour Élise

Blues pour Élise, first installment of the “Afropean Sequences,” paints a colorful, urban, and carnal portrait of Black France — far from misanthropic clichés. Four women, including Malaïka panicking on the eve of her wedding, and a love story in the present tense.

A novel of society, Blues pour Élise speaks above all of love: love of oneself, love of the other.
