One woman dies every minute from maternal dealths-will you do something?

Maternal Mortality Crisis Speaker Tour:
"Deadly Delivery - Mothers at the Heart of the Global Health Care Crisis"

Every minute one woman dies as a consequence of complications during birth or pregnancy. That's more than 500,000 women a year, one woman every minute of every day. These women do not die of diseases that can't be treated or complications that can't be prevented. They die because societies have yet to determine that their lives are worth saying.

Amnesty's Leadership from across the globe will be touring through three cities to raise awareness about maternal mortality and fight for maternal health care as a human right globally.

The lives of women and girls matter.
Join Amnesty International's leadership from around the
world in the fight for maternal health care as a human right.
