III - CHOSAN SPEARHEADS TOY DRIVE IN BROOKLYN

Big up to Silverstreetz/Nomadic Wax MC - Chosan - who is helping to
spread the love this holiday season with a toy drive. Chosan is making it
happen for those in need by getting books, toys, pens and paper donated
for the kids he works with in Brownsville Brooklyn.

Please read the email below and if you can help out please contact
Chosan directly at Silverstreetz@gmail.com
Info below courtesy of Chosan - http://www.silverstreetz.com

Hey what's up y'all, I hope everyone is good and doing well. You know
the Christmas season is here, this is kind of a different email from me.

I'm asking for all my peoples, friends, associates music wise or other
to help
give and donate , things like books , posters, signed pic cards etc.
You know all
the street team stuff that's clogs up your office space.

I donate my time to an after school program in Brownsville Brooklyn.
Those of you know that area know its pretty rough, I work directly with
21kids 11 girls, and 10 boys from the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade so they're
babies. So any stuff that you don't really need for ,they would really
appreciate, and you would be making a difference, and a small
difference can make a big change.

Items such as..

Books.
Posters (not sexually explicit, or violent)
Pic Cards
Pens, Pencils
Lose Leaf Paper
Small to Medium T's (I know my street teams peeps got loads of those)
CDs (no cursing etc).
Artists (any signed pics etc)

Anything is welcome please no cash. Thanks, remember I got 21 kids in
the program.

Thanks for looking out for the future, and giving back!
Chosan

V - BLING: FILM ON SIERRA LEONE'S CONFLICT DIAMONS

Information below courtesy of http://www.wghfilms.com/bling.htm

BLING: Consequences and Repercussions
Bling: Consequences and Repercussions tackle the issues behind
Hip-Hop's obsession with diamonds and the continued illegal diamond trade in
Africa. Kanye West's music video, Diamonds from Sierra Leone, introduced
the topic of conflict diamonds to the urban communities.

Bling looks to further educate the Hip Hop generation about the murder
and carnage caused by the world's greed for diamonds.

Narrated by Hip Hop Legend Chuck D, Bling: Consequences and

Repercussions is a documentary short form and will be released as a
feature length documentary in the Fall of 2006.

VI - FREE MP3 OF THE WEEK

Download KG's "Get up and Dance" mp3 at
http://freesong.calabashmusic.com/

"I want to be an advocate and an ambassador that relays a message of
hope, courage and endearment through music" says K-G when asked about his
goals.

Born in Kenya, raised in the USA, K-G started out in Gospel and has
since created his own blend of musical style. He brings to the forefront a
genuine inclination to positive vibrations and speaks of the hope of
East Africa's destitute urban youth engulfed in crime, war and poverty.
With his song 'Get Up & Dance,' he reminds us all that there is indeed
hope for the future and it lies with these same youth.
