TRINGA

The Centre d'Action Culturelle (CAC) Tringa's main goals are :
-- to identify new West African musical talents
-- to provide them with professional structures in terms of rehearsals, concerts, production, and commercial distribution
-- to help them export their musics to the wolrdwide market

Its short-term ambitions are :
-- to produce cassettes by local acts
-- to set up a national commercial distribution structure
-- to fight piracy, currently monopolizing most of the market
-- to export these productions to the rest of the world
-- to train personnels in management, sound engineering, concert organization.

Auditorium

The Jazz Club, with a 150-capacity, hosts four nights a week performances by local or foreign acts, new or established. The venue is provided with comfortable dressing rooms, and a public bar.

Rehearsal studio

During daytime, the auditorium turns into a rehearsal studio. It can also hold press conferences, and all kinds of promotional events.
Stage dimensions : 4 meters opening by 4 meters in depth.

Swimming-pool and terrace

It can hold film screenings, open-air concerts, dinners, and exhibitions.

Hotel

It holds ten comfortable rooms. It is an ideal location for visiting foreigners (journalists, musicians, producers) wishing to get in immediate touch with the Dakar music scene.

Restaurant

"Le Seyou" offers local meals as well as international cuisine.
