Hoop Rolling ›Gang‹ in Taneka-Beri, Benin
Taneka Beri, Benin, Westafrica ... on May 2, 2013

Just before sunset I spotted this group of boys playing with motorcycle tires. To illustrate the cohesion of the group, they masked their faces with T-shirts. Hoop rolling is still a common pastime of African village children, even in Taneka Beri in Benin. The four Taneka villages are temples mainly inhabited by the authorities in charge of sacrifices. The population lives within a 30 kms radius in the fields. They only get together for great ceremonies.
