Tchad Unité familiale sur la route de Pala 1
Habitation traditionnelle en terre battue. Ces bâtiments reliés par une barrière de branches regroupent une famille, souvent jusqu'à trois générations. Dans cette région, le fils qui se marie amène sa femme habiter au sein de l'unité familiale paternelle. Le père loge ses différentes épouses dans des bâtiments séparés. Un village est constitué de plusieurs de ces unités familiales. Il s'agit d'un habitat dispersé.
